An OBJ and its textures, in one file.

Turn an OBJ with its MTL and pictures into one GLB in your browser, nothing uploaded: colours and pictures packed inside, checked before you download it.

An OBJ, its MTL and its pictures packed into one GLB

An OBJ is often three or more files: the shape, an .mtl with its colours and the pictures it names. A GLB holds all of that in one. KeepSimp packs them together in your browser.

Choose every file at once.

Open OBJ to GLB and choose the .obj, the .mtl and the pictures together. The page finds each by the name the OBJ and MTL give it, and names any it cannot find.

Press Download GLB. Before the file is offered, KeepSimp opens it again with its own reader and counts its triangles and measures its size; a file that does not match the model is not offered, and the page says what was wrong.

Its colours become glTF materials.

OBJ materials are colours and a shine; glTF's are a colour, a roughness and a metalness. Each colour and picture is kept, and the shine is turned into roughness the usual way, so a shiny OBJ stays shiny.

Its size.

An OBJ does not say its unit; it is read as metres, as most animation programs write it. Choose another under Its numbers are in if the size looks wrong, and the GLB is written at that real size.
