A monthly calendar is for writing on. Here is how to get one with room to do it.

The page lies on its side so each day's square is as large as the paper allows, with weekends shaded and the days of other months left blank.

Holidays are written in their squares in the brand colour, and your own dates beneath them, made smaller to fit when they are long.
