Week numbers and holidays on a printed calendar, done right.
How the Calendar maker numbers weeks, which holidays it marks and where they come from, and how to print a calendar at its true size.

A calendar is only useful if its weeks and holidays are right for where you are. Here is how this one gets them.
Week numbers, two ways.
Weeks that start on Monday carry ISO 8601 numbers, where week 1 holds the year's first Thursday; weeks that start on Sunday carry US numbers, where week 1 holds 1 January. The calendar starts weeks as your browser's language setting usually does, and you can change it.
Holidays, with their source.
Public holidays come from python-holidays, an open list kept by volunteers, for 250 countries from 2020 to 2035, with a region's own days where they differ. Days that wait on the moon being sighted are estimates and are marked with a star. Your own dates can be typed or read from a calendar file.
Printed at its true size.
The PDF is made in your browser at the paper's exact size, with words drawn as shapes so every printer shows them the same. Print at 100% or Actual size with Fit to page off.
