Change a Lottie, shape by shape.
Edit a Lottie in your browser, nothing uploaded: open it as shapes, groups and keys, change them, and save a Lottie again, checked before you get it.

A Lottie someone made for you is nearly right: the colour is off, a shape is too big, it is a little slow. KeepSimp's Lottie editor opens it in the Animation maker as shapes and keys you can change, in your browser, and saves it as a Lottie again.
Open it as shapes and keys.
Drop a Lottie JSON, a .lottie or a .tgs on the Lottie editor. It opens straight in the Animation maker's editor: its layers become groups and shapes, and its animated values become keys on the timeline, each with its easing.
Move, resize and recolour any part, change a path's points, or move keys closer together to make it quicker. Every change can be undone.
Know what is left out.
The editor holds shapes, paths, fills, strokes, gradients, groups and keys. It does not hold expressions, masks, mattes, effects, text layers, trim paths, repeaters, merge paths, rounded corners, 3D layers or time remapping. When a file uses any of them, they are left out and the page says which.
To keep a file exactly as it is, play it in the Lottie viewer instead. To change only its colours, use the Lottie colour editor, which leaves everything else alone.
Save it as a Lottie again.
Export is already set to a Lottie JSON. Under More options it can be a dotLottie, and the same export can make a video, a GIF, an animated SVG or a Telegram sticker.
Before a Lottie is offered, it is checked against the Lottie Animation Community's schema and played back by ThorVG, whose frames must match the editor's at five moments. Words are written as their letters' outlines, since Lottie 1.0 has no text, and soft edges are left out; the result says so when it applies.
