Animation

An icon that beats, turns or wiggles.

Make an animated icon in your browser with nothing uploaded, from a starter or your own SVG, and save it as a GIF, a WebM or a PNG. Free, with no watermark.

A small icon that moves draws the eye to a button, a message or a sticker. KeepSimp's animated icon maker makes one in your browser, from a ready icon or from your own SVG, and saves it as a GIF for chats, a WebM for a website or a PNG of one frame.

Start from a heart that beats.

The animated icon maker opens on a heart that beats twice, then rests, inside a dashed ring that turns all the time. It loops every second and a half.

Change the heart's colour or the ring's, make it beat harder by raising its size at the keys, or take the ring away.

Bring in your own icon.

Bring in an SVG icon and give it keys: a beat is its size growing and shrinking, a turn is its rotation, and a wiggle is a few small turns back and forth. Or draw one with the shapes, the pen and the bucket.

Keep the movement short and let it loop. Easing makes the difference between a beat that looks alive and one that looks like a jump.

Save it for a chat, a site or a document.

This page already knows an icon like this usually goes into a chat or an email, so Export makes a GIF, which plays in every app. Choose a website or an app for an animated WebP with a clear background, or a still picture for a PNG or an SVG of one frame.

A GIF holds 256 colours at most in a frame, and each pixel is either clear or solid. For an icon of a few flat colours that is plenty.
