In many countries a CV is expected to have a photo.
Your photo.
Add a PNG or JPEG; it is made smaller on your device and placed at the top right, about the size of a passport photo.
CV or résumé.
The words mean much the same in many places; send a CV with a photo where it is expected, and a plain résumé to job websites.
PDF and Word.
Both are made from the same details; the PDF's text is read back before it is offered.
