Your signature, without the paper.
Lift a signature, stamp or logo off the paper it was drawn or printed on and save it as a transparent PNG, in your browser. Free, with no uploads.

A signature on a white page looks fine until you put it on a document whose paper is not quite as white. The Signature and logo background remover lifts the ink off the paper and saves it as a transparent PNG, on your device.
Sign, snap, lift.
Sign on plain white paper with a dark pen. Take a photo straight on, in even light, or scan it.
Open the Signature and logo background remover and drop the picture. What is drawn is kept, by how much darker it is than the page, and the paper is taken away; the paper's colour is taken out of the soft edges of the strokes, so they do not keep a grey or cream halo. Nothing needs to be downloaded first.
Download the PNG, cut down to the signature.
What a picture of a signature is, and is not.
A transparent signature is a picture: it can go on a letter, a slide or a PDF, and it shows that you put your name there. It is not a digital signature, which proves a file was not changed and is made with a certificate.
Keep the PNG to yourself, as you would the pen you sign with.
How the ink is told from the paper.
No model is needed: what is drawn is darker than the page. The paper's brightness and colour are read from the brightest part of the picture and the ink's from its darkest, and each pixel is kept as much as it is darker than the paper. Grain and faint shadows within a tenth of the way to the ink are taken for paper and let go.
Strokes are soft at their edges, where ink and paper mix. The paper's colour is taken out of those pixels, so the edge keeps the ink's colour and not a cream or grey fringe. A coloured stamp keeps its colour.
