An FBX model, made printable.

Turn an FBX into an STL in your browser, nothing uploaded: its parts made one shape in millimetres, standing on Z, checked before you download it.

An FBX character turned into an STL for a 3D printer

Game characters and props often come as FBX; a 3D printer needs an STL. KeepSimp writes one from an FBX in your browser, at its real size.

Drop the FBX and download the STL.

Open FBX to STL and drop the .fbx on it. Press Download STL.

Before the file is offered, KeepSimp opens it again with its own reader, counts its triangles and measures its size; a file that does not match the model is not offered, and the page says what was wrong.

What changes.

The STL is written in millimetres, standing on Z, from the size the FBX says. Its parts become one shape, posed as it stands at rest; colours, pictures and animations cannot go into an STL, and the page names them.

A game model is often not a closed shape. The viewer says so when the model opens, and counts the holes.

Other ways out of FBX.

GLB keeps everything, OBJ keeps colours and pictures.
