Placeholder text that can be made again.
Make lorem ipsum placeholder text by paragraphs, sentences or words, with or without the classic first sentence, the same again from a seed, in your browser.

Designers fill a layout with lorem ipsum so that the shape of a page can be judged without its words drawing the eye. It is scrambled Latin from Cicero, used by printers since the 1500s.
Choose how much, and Make.
Choose paragraphs, sentences or words and how many, with the plus and minus buttons, and press Make placeholder text. It goes into the box, where it is counted and can be copied; Undo puts back what was there.
The classic start, or not.
The text starts with “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit.” unless you turn that off. The other words come from the Latin word list of Faker, the same library the Developer toolkit makes mock data with.
The same text again.
The text is made from a seed, under More options: the same amount, start and seed always make the same text, so a design can be made again exactly.
Nothing leaves your browser.
Everything is worked out on your device: what you paste, type or open is never sent anywhere, and nothing is kept when you leave the page. There are no adverts, no accounts and no limits on length.
