Pick a random name with a wheel.
Paste a list of names, spin a wheel and get a fair pick, for classrooms, streams and meetings. How to use a wheel of names in your browser, nothing sent.

A wheel of names turns choosing someone into a small event everyone can watch: who answers next, who goes first, who wins the prize. Here is how to set one up in a minute.
Paste the names, one a line.
Copy a column from a spreadsheet or a list from a chat and paste it in. Blank lines are left out. The wheel draws up to 1,000 names, each in its own colour, and shows a name on its slice while it fits.
Spin, and read the name.
Press Spin, or the wheel itself. The name is drawn before the wheel moves, so the spin is only for show, and the pick is said in large letters when it stops. Take that name off the wheel with one press, or switch to take turns so every pick leaves.
Keep the list for next time.
Turn on “Keep my lists on this device” to save a class or a team by name in this browser, or copy a link that carries the list to another device. Full screen shows the wheel large for a projector.
