A chore chart that gets used.
Chores down the side and the days of the week across, with a box for each, to print and put on the fridge. Change the chores for your home.

A chore chart works when it is short and in sight. Here is one to make.
Chores against days.
Each chore is a row with a box for every day of the week, to tick when it is done; weeks start on Monday or Sunday.
Keep it short.
A handful of chores a child can do alone works better than a long list; change them one to a line.
A new one each week.
Print a fresh chart each week, or leave empty lines to add chores by hand.
