Exact amounts.
Every amount is a decimal, never a rounded binary number, and each line is rounded to your currency's own minor units, as a ledger does: two places for most, none for the yen, three for the Kuwaiti dinar.
Discount and tax.
A discount, an amount or a percent, is spread over the lines by their amounts in whole minor units, then each line's tax is worked out on what is left, so the total always adds up.
PDF, CSV and Excel.
The PDF holds real text; the lines can also be saved as CSV or an Excel workbook, read back before it is offered.
