Questions people ask
- How are CGST and SGST worked out?
- The tax on each line is the rate you type on its amount after discount, rounded to the paisa; within a state it is split equally as CGST and SGST, in whole paise that add up to the tax.
- Is this tax advice?
- No. It is arithmetic on the rates you type. Which rate applies and what an invoice must show are for the GST rules and your accountant.
- When do I use IGST?
- For a supply between states, IGST is shown as one line instead of CGST and SGST; choose it under More options.
