Animation

A Lottie, as a GIF that plays anywhere.

Convert a Lottie to a GIF in your browser, nothing uploaded: ThorVG draws its frames on your device and they are written as a GIF for chats and emails.

A Lottie needs a player. A chat, an email or a document usually has none, but nearly all of them play a GIF. KeepSimp's Lottie to GIF page turns one into the other in your browser, with nothing uploaded.

Drop it and save a GIF.

Drop a Lottie JSON, a .lottie or a .tgs. It plays first, as it is, so you can see that it is the right one. Export is already set to a GIF.

ThorVG draws each frame on your device, and the Animation converter's engine writes them as a GIF.

What a GIF can keep.

A GIF holds 256 colours at most in a frame, and each pixel is either fully clear or fully solid. Flat colours look as they should; gradients can band and soft edges can look jagged, over a clear background most of all.

For soft see-through edges, choose an animated WebP or an APNG instead, which current browsers play.

Other files from the same Lottie.

The same page can make an MP4 for a post or a video editor, or a PNG of one frame. To make a GIF you already have smaller, use the Animation converter.
