What a 30 minute timer is good for.
A thirty-minute timer for a workout, a focused meeting or reading time, with the time left in the tab's title and a sound at the end. Ready to start.

A 30 minute timer is one of the lengths people reach for most. Here is what it suits, and how to make the most of one in a browser.
What 30 minute suits.
Half an hour suits a workout, a meeting that should end on time, or reading with no phone.
The time left, in the tab.
While it runs, the tab's title counts down too, so you can see the time left from another tab without coming back.
If you switch tabs.
The timer keeps the moment it started, so it shows the right time whenever you look, and says if it ended while you were away. Browsers may pause a page in the background, especially on phones, so keep the page open when the sound matters.
