Tap along
Tap at least twice
From the middle gap of your last taps, so one late tap does not throw it. A pause of two seconds starts again.
Clicks are put on the audio clock ahead of time, so they keep time even when the page is busy. What you hear is late by your speakers' own delay, which no page can measure. Nothing is sent or kept.

Questions people ask
- How is the tempo worked out?
- From the middle (median) gap of your last eight taps, so one tap that is early or late does not throw the answer.

- Two give a first answer; eight or more give a steady one. A pause of two seconds starts a new count.
- Can I use the tempo on the metronome?
- Yes. Press Use on the metronome and it starts at the tempo you tapped.
