A CGPA is a GPA on a 10-point scale, weighted by credits.
The sum.
Multiply each term's SGPA (or each course's points) by its credits, add them and divide by all the credits. 9 over 3 credits and 8 over 4 make 59 ÷ 7 ≈ 8.43.
Credits matter.
A term with more credits counts for more, so the CGPA is not the plain average of SGPAs unless every term has the same credits.
To a percentage.
Choose CGPA to percentage and your board's or university's rule.
