Questions people ask

How does it get a photo under the limit?
It looks for the highest quality that still fits. If no quality fits, it makes the picture smaller step by step and says the new size.
Can it make a photo larger, to reach a minimum such as 20 KB?
No. It only makes files smaller. If a form asks for at least a size, choose a higher limit or the Printing or keeping answer.
How do I know it still looks good?
The result says how close it looks, measured against the original, and you can slide across the picture to compare before you download.
Is 100 KB the only choice?
No. It starts at 100 KB because forms often ask for it; type any figure in KB or MB, or pick 200 KB, 500 KB, 1 MB or 2 MB.
