The Loan calculator: ₹8,678 a month for 20 years, with each year's payments split between the loan and interest

An amortization schedule is the loan's story month by month. Here is how to read it.

Each row.

The payment, the interest on what was still owed, the principal it paid off, any extra, and the balance after it, with the date if you set the first payment.

Its shape.

Interest is largest at first and shrinks as the balance falls, so the principal part grows each month.

As a file.

Download it as CSV, a spreadsheet or a PDF, all made on your device.
