Each month's interest is rounded to the cent, half up, and the last payment pays what is left, so your lender's schedule may differ by a few cents.

How it works and help
This is arithmetic on the numbers you type, not financial advice. Rates, fees and rules differ by lender and place. Worked out in your browser; nothing you type is sent anywhere.

Questions people ask

Does it include taxes and insurance?
No. Property tax, insurance and PMI depend on where you live and your lender, so only the loan's own payment is worked out.
What is the crossover month?
The first month more of the payment goes to the loan than to interest; the chart marks it with a dashed line.
Are my numbers sent anywhere?
No. Everything is worked out in your browser and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
