Splitting a bill to the cent.
Split a bill with tax and tip evenly or by what each person had, with shares that add up exactly and the extra cent said.

Splitting a bill evenly sounds simple until the cents do not divide. Here is how to do it exactly.
Evenly.
The bill, tax and tip are added up and shared; the cents left over go one each to the first in line. $128 three ways is $42.67, $42.67 and $42.66.
By what each had.
List each item with who shared it, such as Pizza 18.50 Ana Ben; each pays for what they had, and tax and tip follow in proportion.
