Questions people ask
- When does the minute start?
- With your first key. Until then nothing is timed, so take your time to read the first words. When the minute is up, typing stops and your result is shown.
- Is one minute long enough to measure my speed?
- It gives a fair idea, but one good or bad moment moves it more than in a longer test. Take two or three and look at what they have in common, or choose a longer test from the switch above the words.
- Can I take the same minute again?
- Yes. Again gives you the same words, so you can see whether you did better; New text makes new ones. Tab then Enter, or Esc, starts again without the mouse.
