Questions people ask
- What does it change to make a GIF smaller?
- It lowers the colours first, then the frame rate, then the size, until the file fits, and says what it changed.
- Does it know Discord's and Slack's limits?
- Discord's emoji and sticker sizes come from Discord's own pages. Slack and WhatsApp do not publish theirs, so the page gives guides' figures and says so.
- Is a GIF the smallest choice?
- Not always. Where the place takes them, an animated WebP or an MP4 is usually far smaller; they are under More options.
