Questions people ask
- How do I choose the pages to delete?
- Press them on the board of pages, Shift-click to take a run of them, or type their numbers in the field, such as 2, 5-7. The two always show the same choice.
- Is the PDF smaller afterwards?
- Usually. The new file keeps only the fonts and pictures the remaining pages draw, so pages that are taken out do not leave their pictures behind.
- What happens to links to a page I removed?
- Links to removed pages are taken away, links between the pages that stay still work, and bookmarks follow the pages that stay.
This page is the PDF splitter, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the PDF splitter's own page.
