Every option explained
- The due date
- 280 days from the last period's first day, moved by the cycle's length less 28; 266 days from conception; 261 or 263 days from a day-5 or day-3 IVF transfer (ACOG Committee Opinion 700).
- A scan
- Under More options, compare an early scan with the period's date: ACOG uses the scan's date when they differ by more than 5 to 14 days, by the scan's week.
- Fertile days
- The six days ending on ovulation, taken as 14 days before the next period. Cycles vary, so this is an estimate and not birth control.
- Not medical advice
- This is arithmetic on your numbers, not medical advice; ask a doctor, nurse or midwife about your own health.
