Check that your speakers or headphones play, in your browser: beeps in the left, the right and both, and a sweep. Made in the browser, nothing sent.

No sound is usually a setting, not a broken speaker.
Three beeps.
Press Left, Both or Right for three short beeps from that side, made by the browser with the Tone generator's synth.
When you hear nothing.
Check the volume, that the output is not muted, and which output the system plays through: Bluetooth headphones may still be connected. Where the browser lets a page choose (Chrome and Edge), a Play through list appears.
A sweep.
A sweep from 20 Hz to 20 kHz shows where your speakers stop playing low and high notes.
