Questions people ask
- How do I work out 20% off a price?
- Multiply the price by 0.2 to find what comes off, then take it away, or multiply by 0.8 in one go. £85 with 20% off is £68, which saves £17.
- Is 20% off and then 10% off the same as 30% off?
- No: the second discount is taken from the lower price, so together they come to 28% off. Put the second discount under More options and the page works it out and says so.
- Can it add tax or a tip instead?
- Yes. Choose Add instead of Take off: 100 plus 18% is 118.
