Questions people ask

Can it open a PDF if I have forgotten the password?
No. It takes the password off a file you can already open: you type the password once, and the copy you save opens without it. A forgotten password cannot be found or guessed here, and nothing is tried against the file.
What about a PDF that opens but cannot be printed or copied?
Such a file has only a second password that limits what a reader may do. It opens without asking, with a reminder to have the right to change it, and the copy you save has no limits.
Is the password or the file sent anywhere?
No. The file is opened and written in your browser, and the password is used there once and never stored or sent. Nothing is uploaded.
Does the unlocked copy keep its links and bookmarks?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, with their links, notes, fillable fields and bookmarks. A digital signature does not stay valid in a file that has been written again.
