Conversions use Color.js with D50/D65 adaptation where needed. Displayed values are rounded to seven significant digits; HEX alpha uses 8-bit rounding. HSV and CMYK omit alpha, which is shown separately. CMYK is a mathematical approximation, not a printer profile, ink recipe or Pantone match.

Hues rotate in OKLCH. Swatches and exports are mapped to sRGB; a harmony is a starting point, not a contrast guarantee.

Use an opaque color.
Large text means at least 18 pt regular or 14 pt bold. Pass/fail uses the unrounded ratio. Colors are mapped to sRGB, with alpha composited over the chosen canvas. This checks color contrast, not full page accessibility.
Look beyond contrast
Keep labels as well as color.
A preview of the same text and background under the selected model.
Protan, deutan and tritan use the Machado 2009 model at full severity in linear sRGB. These are approximate simulations, not a diagnosis or a prediction of every person’s vision. Grayscale uses relative luminance.
Color difference: ΔE2000 90.421. This compares the original colors without opacity. It is not a contrast or accessibility score.

2–8 stops, ordered from 0 to 100%. Repeated positions make hard edges. The export includes a sampled fallback for browsers without interpolation syntax. It is an approximation between samples; stops use the sRGB fallback and keep opacity.

Click the preview, or choose exact preview coordinates below. The preview is resized to at most 256 pixels on a side and converted by the browser to sRGB; these are not original-file pixel coordinates.
PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 10 MiB and 30 million pixels. Dominant-color sampling ignores pixels below 50% opacity and can miss small details. For an exact preview pixel, use the coordinate fields. Images and palettes are cleared on refresh.
