Days until Christmas

A live countdown to Christmas Day, with a link to share and a calendar entry. Free, with no account or uploads.

Count down to Christmas

The count runs to midnight on Christmas morning by your device's clock.

Dates follow the Gregorian calendar back to year 1, as computers do; before 1582 (1752 in Britain and its colonies) records were kept in the Julian calendar, so old dates may differ from what was written at the time.

How it works and help

Questions people ask

Does it count today?
No. It counts the days from today to Christmas Day, so on Christmas Eve it says 1 day to go.
Which clock does the countdown use?
Your device's own clock, to midnight at the start of 25 December where you are.
Can I share the countdown?
Copy a link puts the date in the address after #, which is never sent to a server, so it opens for whoever you send it to.

This page is the Date calculator, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the Date calculator's own page.
