How it works and help
Sounds are made in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. A running timer is kept only for this tab, so a reload carries on.

Questions people ask

Is twenty minutes right for a nap?
The Sleep Foundation puts the ideal nap at 20 to 30 minutes: long enough to refresh you, short enough to wake before deep sleep, which can leave you groggy. It is set to twenty.
Will it wake me?
It rings at the end if the page stays open. On a phone, keep the screen on or the page in front, as browsers may pause a page in the background.
Can I use it for a workout instead?
Yes, it is an ordinary countdown. For rounds of work and rest, the interval timer has pips at each change.

This page is the Timer, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the Timer's own page.
