Focus
25:00
Keeps exact time when you switch tabs, and says if it ended while you were away. Keep this page open for the sound, especially on a phone, where browsers may pause a page in the background.
The Pomodoro Technique is Francesco Cirillo’s; this timer follows its lengths and its rule that a session cut short is void, and is not made or approved by him.
A little help along the way

Questions people ask
- What are the Pomodoro lengths?
- Francesco Cirillo's book gives 25 minutes of work and a short break of 3 to 5 minutes, with a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes after every four. The timer starts at 25, 5 and 15, all changeable.
- What does Void do?
- The technique says a session that is interrupted for good does not count. Void ends it without counting it, and the page says how many you voided.
- Can it play background noise?
- Yes: white, pink or brown noise under More options, made in your browser and played only while a focus session runs.
This page is the Timer, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the Timer's own page.
