Questions people ask
- Does it keep time if I switch tabs?
- Yes. It keeps the moment it started rather than counting ticks, so it shows the right time when you come back, and says if it ended while you were away.
- Will it ring if the tab is in the background?
- The sound is set on your device's sound clock when you press Start. Browsers can still pause a page in the background, especially on phones, so keep the page open when the sound matters.
- How long can it count down?
- From one second up to 24 hours. Choose a common length or Your own for hours, minutes and seconds.
This page is the Timer, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the Timer's own page.
