Questions people ask

How much does an honors or AP class add?
The usual rule adds 0.5 for honors and 1.0 for AP, IB or college courses, so an A in AP counts as 5.0. Your school may use another rule.
What is the difference between weighted and unweighted GPA?
Unweighted counts every A as 4.0; weighted gives harder courses extra points, so it can go above 4.0.
Can I mix levels?
Yes. Choose Regular, Honors or AP, IB or college under each course.
