Questions people ask
- Will an hour-long timer stay accurate?
- Yes. It keeps the moment it started, so it is exact however long it runs and however often you switch tabs.
- Can I float it over my work?
- In browsers that offer it, such as Chrome on a computer, Float the timer opens a small window that stays on top.
- Can it tell me when it ends if I am in another tab?
- Press Tell me when it ends and allow notifications: if the tab is in the background when it ends, a notification appears.
This page is the Timer, opened for this one job; every other tool it has is one press away. Each of its settings is explained on the Timer's own page.
