Questions people ask
- How do I crop a photo to a square for Instagram?
- Turn Shape on and choose Square, or 4:5 for a portrait post. The largest square in the middle is chosen; drag it to the part you want, then download.
- Does cropping make the photo blurry?
- No. The pixels you keep are copied exactly as they were; only the parts outside the crop are left out. A JPEG is saved again at quality 90, a PNG without loss.
- Can I crop to an exact size in pixels?
- Yes. Under More options, Fine-tune sets where the crop starts and its width and height in the photo's own pixels.
