A little help along the way

- Type the words, or choose a pictureDRAFT, Confidential, a name; or a logo as a PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF. See-through parts of a picture stay see-through.
- Set how it looksFrom corner to corner or level, how solid it is, how much of the page it takes, and its colour.
- Choose the pagesLeave Pages empty for every page, or type the pages: 2-, 1-3, 7, odd or even.

Every option explained
- What a watermark is here
- Words or a picture laid over the page. The page under it is not changed. On download it becomes part of the page, so that other programs show it as you see it.
- It does not protect a file
- A watermark says something to whoever reads the page. It does not stop anyone from copying the text under it, and a program that edits PDFs can take it off again.
- Each watermark is a thing of its own
- On each page it can be selected, moved, resized, turned or deleted. Keep what you added editable, in the download options, leaves it that way in the file too.
- Pictures
- The picture goes into the file once, however many pages show it.
- All tools
- This page is the PDF editor, opened for watermarks. All tools shows the rest: text, pictures, shapes, highlights and signing.
